Who pays for adult day care or an adult family care home?
Most families pay privately; Medicaid long-term care plans and PACE can pay for adult day care, and Optional State Supplementation can help an eligible adult family care home resident with room and board.

What does the capacity column mean for these licenses?
For an adult day care center it is the licensed number of participants AHCA allows at one time; for an adult family care home it is the number of residents, which Florida caps at five.
Some assisted living facilities also take day participants, who count toward the ALF's staffing minimums under rule 59A-36.010.
